VICTOM SUPPORT - Offer Support after crime contact them for free, confidential support to move beyond the impact of crime

 

As an independent charity, Victim Support work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and the respect they deserve. They help people feel safer and find the strength to move beyond crime. Support is free, confidential and tailored to individual needs.

 

 

 

VICTIM SUPPORT / BRAVE PROJECT

 

Support to victims of any crime or those affected by a crime committed against someone they know.

They aim to help people find the strength to deal with what they’ve been through. All services are free and available to everyone and they are not part of the police, the courts or any other criminal justice agency.

 

Trained volunteers offer: Someone to talk to, in confidence / Information on police and court procedures / Advocacy / information about compensation, insurance and other sources of help. We are happy for schools to contact us for advice, and we will attend and support Community Events and Community Open days, when invited to do
