THE OUTWARD BOUND TRUST: Is an educational charity that uses the outdoors to help develop young people from all walks of life.  Running adventurous and challenging outdoor learning programmes that equip young people with valuable skills for education, work and life. Helping them become more confident, more effective and more capable at school, college and in the workplace.


FINANCIAL SUPPORT: As an educational charity, the trust work hard to make the outdoors accessible to as many young people as possible through charitable subsidies and a bursary scheme. Thanks to the generous support of donors and corporate supporters almost 70% of participants receive financial support, enabling them to benefit from the residential experiences. SUITED FOR SUCCESS: Is a charity working with young people 16+, helping to get them into employment by offering them suits / dresses / shoes so that they look proffesional for interviews.  They can also sort out haircuts (free of charge) giving the young person a much needed confidence boost. The referral criteria are:


1. Referred clients must be currently unemployed and have a guaranteed job interview

2. Clients must be given information about Suited for Success and how we work

3. Appointments must be made via the ‘Appointment form’ and emailed to Suited for Success

4. Client must be given the ‘About your Suited for Success appointment’ document

5. Clients must only be referred once

YMCA TRIPLE A PROJECT: Triple A stands for Aspiration, Ambition and Achievement, 3 values which underpin youth work. The aim of the project is to raise the aspirations of young people, increase their ambition and help them to achieve their goals. Through this work, Triple A hope to support and develop young people in fulfilling their dreams and becoming active members of the community.


Work includes: Centre-based youth clubs and youth work/Detached youth work/Life coaching/Family Work/Issue-based workshops/Educational workshops
